SUMMARY: |
By importing ADMX templates into Intune for Mozilla Firefox, you are adding administrative templates that allow you to configure the Firefox browser on your Windows devices. Once you've imported the admx files, you will have Firefox-specific settings to configure and deploy using Intune's Configuration Profiles. |

Import Steps
NOTE: |
The ADML file is the language file referenced by the ADMX templates. According to Microsoft, only one ADML file can be used and it must be en-US (English). |
Step 1: Download the ADMX & ADML Files
Click here to automatically download the ADMX and ADML files from Mozilla's GitHub.
Unzip the compressed file to view the contents.
Under the Windows subfolder, you'll need the firefox.admx and mozilla.admx files.
Expand the en-US folder to retrieve the firefox.adml and mozilla.adml files.

Step 2: Import Files into Intune
Open the Intune Portal
Navigate to Devices > Windows > Configuration
Select the Import ADMX tab then select + Import

Step 2a: Import the Mozilla ADMX & ADML Files
IMPORTANT: |
You must import the mozilla.admx and mozilla.adml files first, or the import will fail!
Once the status is Available, you can import the firefox.admx and firefox.adml files. |
Select the folder icons and navigate to the recently downloaded Mozilla ADMX and ADML files.
Select Next and review + create.

Once the status is Available you can move to Step 2b.

Step 2b: Import the Firefox ADMX & ADML Files
Start the import process over again.
Select the folder icons and navigate to the recently downloaded Firefox ADMX and ADML files.
Select Next and review + create.

Step 3: Check Out the New Mozilla Firefox Templates
While in the Intune Portal, navigate to Devices > Windows > Configuration
Select the Policy tab
Select + Create and then select + New Policy
Platform: Windows 10 and later
Profile Type: Templates
Template Name: Imported Administrative templates (Preview)
Select Create and then name the deployment.

You should now be able to see a Mozilla folder in the list of templates.
